Flew into town last Monday and lived with Lacey and Erik for a week. Erik's playing bass in the band now! And the deadly Richard Brown on drums! Monday we hung out with A-team (she moved out to Van this summer) and had sushi, bleached my hair, late night pool, and finally late late night Megazords from Mick D's.
Tuesday I had coffee with Danagement, we rehearsed the band, and I fell asleep in my clothes watching Scrubs using a pillow for a blanket and a blanket for a pillow. Wednesday I hung out with my friend Eric from the Bert, Thursday Rude City Riot and Ivy League Brawlers played the Venue opening for Angelo Moore of Fishbone's side project. Crazy fun night, thought the show was great. Sat in with Angelo's band, unreal.
Slept threw my flight home, ended up home safe and sound way later than I wanted to be. Toronto for family business at the end of the month, then RCR is busy in Vancouver recording and playing shows. Can't wait!
