Flew into Victoria Friday morning with DL3 & family. Quick Italiano for lunch, then checked out the
Slackers at the
Victoria Ska Fest. Up early Saturday for soundcheck, and then played in the afternoon to a beautiful and sunny Victoria day at Ship Point. Got to hang out with
Stepper and
Los Furios, met Dane, Chris Murray, and the Fabulous Lo Lo! Hung out with some cool people (Sarah & Mike are wicked! Alex from
Class Action too!) to catch some more ska for a bit until we had to split and catch out ferry to Vancouver.
Arrived at the sailing club for the UBC party in time for the BBQ! (The sangria went pretty quick.) Two great sets with Jon from
Easy Brothers filling in for Sean. (He pulled double duties that night with us and
Los Furios at
Victoria Ska Fest.)
Two great shows, met a lot of cool people on the coast this weekend. Hanging in Vancouver until Tuesday for our show with
Skavenjah at
Railway Club.
