Calgary AB

Played the Stetson last night as part of the Sled Island Music Festival. The bar was fun, the staff and sound guy was awesome, and the three other bands we played it all destroyed!! They all left us with our jaws dropped. The Evidence and Seven Story Redhead are both from Calgary, both wicked bands, both full of the coolest and nicest people and talented instruments. Lonnie is the man! Him and Kelly, Frank and Chris from Seven Story Redhead are all great guys, and I love their style. I'm hoping them and the guys from the Evidence (Especially Tyler!) can make it to Edmonton to play New City or Pawn Shop.

Walk of the Earth might be the best band ever. Wow. Watch them. Every chance. You get.

Kevin and I went down to Broken City after to catch some Wicked Awesomes and Sharp Ends. Drove to Saint Albert this afternoon to play LB's Pub tonight, day off tomorrow and Kamloops the next.
