Ink n Iron Festival - Long Beach CA (Raygun Cowboys)

Crazy festival in Long Beach, hundreds of tattoo artists set-up through-out the decks of the Queen Mary II, burlesque & pin-up model competitions, giant classic car show, and lots of rockabilly. Our bass broke in the first song, but luckily & randomly a guy ran through the crowd to the front of the stage with an upright over his head to loan us for the rest of our set! Got to see the Polecats play again. Suicidal Tendencies, Pennywise, lots of sun, lots of rum, random tattoos, midnight 6'er on the rocks down on the water!

Drove as far as Vegas Monday, then north Edmonton-bound, 1500 miles home from Frank Sinatra Drive & Dean Martin Drive to Wayne Gretzky Drive & Mark Messier Drive! Now a few days in Red Deer followed by my retirement party at the weekly jazz jam I've hosted on-and-off for 5 years, and then North Country Fair with Mad Bomber Society! Then Vancouver back with the Rude City Riot boys. No rest for the wicked.
