Opera House show went great! A lot of people showed up, a lot of people dancing. Random Hand exploded, the best I've seen them yet!! Amazing songs, amazing band to see live, I really love watching them perform. My old room-mate/drummer from Edmonton Ian M showed up with his friend Jen, Erik N & Richard B (Nothin But Time) came down, they were in town from Vancouver to perform with Ali on CBC's Cover Me Canada (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ali-Milner/114449125326601), and Kylen is in town for a two-week course she's taking in Scarborough! I was really happy with our set, I think our best one yet, and McKenzies & Smashers were incredible as always. The stage-diving during the Planet Smashers' set started right off the first song!
Stopped on our way to Kitchener at a Kelsey's for the best giant rack of ribs I think I've ever had! Sat around waiting for our set sitting in the sun on an outdoor patio sewing a back-piece on my jacket with Kylen, Peter, and his friends Matt & Dan. We're playing more-or-less at the same time as Random Hand in a different venue, at least we'll get to see McKenzies and Smashers through-out the day.
