Hamilton ON

Played the Phog Lounge in Windsor ON Thursday night as part of the Pitter Patter Festival. Good show, nice city. Tunnel Barbeque for dinner beforehand, Kevin R. Tang unlocked his jaw and shovelled an entire bowl of coleslaw into one bite. Almost died. Messed up his chops at the show, blistered the inside of his lower lip, smashed his trombone slide on the mic stand and needs to get it repaired, and then fell out of the shower the next morning and smashed his elbow. Then lost his BlackBerry somewhere between Windsor and Toronto. The best part of the story is way too Legend to talk about outside of the band.

Friday we drove to Toronto to play Supermarket in Kensington Market, again as part of the Pitter Patter Music Festival. Awesome venue, bar-meets-vegan-restaurant themed off a super market. Walked around after soundcheck with Flavio ("Cirillo the Sicilian Armadillian") and Scott ("Nappy") down Queen St and up College to Little Italy to find a patio to have dinner and shop around.

Good show, hilarious comedian/musician opening. Then a sick sick MC after us freestyling in his underwear. The show last night was originally supposed to be in Hamilton and was moved to TO last minute, but we still had our hotel reservations in Hamilton, so we drove back after the show. Chill night, we all pretty much went straight to sleep. Toronto again tonight playing the Drake Hotel, and tomorrow at Horseshoe Tavern. About to check into our hotel where we can homebase out of for a few days. Kitchenette, shower, fantastic.
